How much power does Oprah have? Enough influence the first lady and what she wears. When Oprah publicized her thoughts on the Toy Watch, it seems that not only did thousands of women rush out to purchase one, but so did Michelle Obama herself.
According to NBC, Michelle's formula of style icon dressing has been studied since her inauguration as First Lady because she's mixed the practical (such as J. Crew) with the fashion insider point of view (Isabel Toledo, Jason Wu), in risky prints and statement necklaces.
Take this as a hint for the finicky female or a warning in case you're thinking of going another route, the Toywatch will most likely be a big fashion hit this fall & Christmas and since manufactures are planning on making less product this year across the board, you might want to think of purchasing that special item... now!.
If you turn to AOL Beauty & Style then you will know that Michelle Obama is proving you can be fashionable and still be on a budget. Why spend hundreds when you can be smart and jiggy. (Yes... we said Jiggy!)
Now we will admit it's a little saddening to see so many people set their fashion trends on what others wear (exception of Kayne who keeps trying to start trends and just looks like a moron) but as long as they are going to keep picking up smart items, we're okay with it.
